Requirements Must possess a JD or LL.M. Foreign degree equivalent of a JD or LL.M is acceptable. Must display excellent academic record as demonstrated by cum laudemagna cum laudedistinctionscholarB GPA andor law reviewjournal experience. Must be admitted to the NY State Bar. Must possess 36 months of experience in the job offered or as an Associate practicing Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions Law. Must have at least one year of experience supporting senior attorneys with significant 500m transactions involving acquisitions and divestitures of IP and technology assets.br br Qualifications of the Foreign National As detailed in Section J, the foreign national is qualified for the job opportunity. Specifically, she holds an LLM degree from the University of California, Berkeley 2012. While at UC Berkeley she demonstrated an excellent academic record as indicated by her law school transcript which shows that she received received honors in 7 of her 10 graded courses. In addition, she has law reviewjournal experience as she was an Associate Editor, Berkeley Technology Law Journal and a Staff Editor on the Berkeley Journal of Entertainment and Sports Law.br br The foreign national has been admitted to the New York State Bar since June 27, 2016. She possesses over three 3 years of experience as an Associate Attorney practicing Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions Law. Specifically, she was employed by Morrison Cohen LLP as an Associate Attorney practicing in the area of Intellectual Property and Technology Transactions Law from February 21, 2017 to August 28, 2020.br br Her experience includes over one 1 year of experience supporting senior attorneys with significant 500m transactions involving acquisitions and divestures of IP and technology assets.br br Regarding Section H.12, please note that the employers requirements for the position are normal. First, as indicated by DOLs ONET source, the Lawyer occupation requires a JD or LL.M and several years of experience. Moreover, as noted in DOLs Occupational Outlook Handbook source, to practice law in any state, a person must be admitted to its bar under rules established by the jurisdictions highest court.br br Regarding Section I.25, please note that per regulations, the Notice of Filing was physically placed at the physical worksite for a period of ten consecutive business days.
