Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or related field, or foreign degree equivalent, and five years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience working in a managerial or supervisory position for a multinational corporation in the heavy and mediumduty truck manufacturing industry, including three years of experience in each of the followingbr br Driving the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and ensuring execution of process improvements in a manufacturing facility, in the areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale, and environment;br br Utilizing company policies, procedures and practices relating to a manufacturing environment, including product flow and lean manufacturing concepts, to improve operational performance;br br Analyzing schedules and maintaining information regarding release dates, vehicle documentation, and quality records for heavy and mediumduty truck parts and products, and their application in international markets;br br Using continuous improvement and problemsolving tools and methodologies, and software tools, including Solidworks, Catia V5 and Minitab, in a manufacturing environment, to implement process improvements; andbr br Supporting execution of internal audits to demonstrate knowledge and compliance with ISO 9001 standards.br br Experience may be gained concurrently.
