The position requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field. The qualified candidate must have at least 6 months of academic coursework, academic experience, or professional experience in mechanical engineering. The qualified candidate must also have at least 6 months of academic coursework, academic experience, or professional experience with all of the following a creating accurate and detailed technical drawings and 3D models for use in part manufacturing; b utilizing surface plates, gage blocks, height gauges, pin gauges, micrometers, and calipers for precise measurement and performing layouts; c manufacturing and fabricating parts for semiconductor products utilizing metalworking equipment and machinery; d utilizing 3D printing technologies for parts manufacturing; e designing and building pick and place gantry robots for task automation; f building PCB Boards using a CNC milling machine and PCB layout software; g designing parts that can be cut with a water jet cutter; and h utilizing the following tools and technologies SolidWorks, Fusion360, AutoCAD 2D Layout, PCB Layout Software, CNC Milling Machines, Laser Cutter and Trimmer, MakerBot Method X or equivalent 3D Printing, manual metalworking and fabrication, soldering, and surface mount soldering. All experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept candidates with any suitable combination of education and experience as described in H4 to H10, above.
