The regulations include an exception if the job opportunity is located in a rural area of intended employment that does not have a newspaper that publishes a Sunday edition. In that case, the employer may use the newspaper edition with the widest circulation in the area on intended employment.br br To fulfil this mandate, New Fashion Pork chose to place four print ads. Two were placed on Sundays in a newspaper that was closest to the area of intended employment, the Sioux City Journal, which is located 51 miles from the area of intended employment, Hospers, Iowa. The other two ads were placed on Saturdays in the NWest Iowa REVIEW, which is twelve miles from the area of intended employment, Hospers, Iowa. The Saturday ads were placed on August 20, 2022 and August 27, 2022.
