Experience must include two 2 years of experience in the following Analyzing program requirements to develop 2D and 3D designs, part drawings, and assembly drawings using CAD equipment; creating and revising detail and assembly production drawings utilizing GDT; evaluating part dimensions, materials, and relations to prepare concept sketches of proposed designs; analyzing metal strengths to select appropriate material and reduce cost; computing volumes, weights, surface areas, dimensions, radii, clearances, tolerances stack up analysis, leverages, and location of holes; analyzing manufacturing assembly processes to propose new equipment designs according to customer requirements; creating finished designs from sketches according to ISO, ASME Y14.5, and DFM; maintaining full documentation of CAD model changes according to document control procedures, and releasing drawing in product database management software; and utilizing failure analysis techniques to determine root causes of equipment failures and initiating corrective actions. Telecommuting is permitted.
