Minimum Requirements Requires a Masters degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, or closely related field, plus 3 years of professional financial industry experience analyzing company fundamentals and groups of trading strategies based on the markets reaction to corporate actions and merger acquisitions. Employer will also accept a Bachelors degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, or closely related field, plus 5 years of professional financial industry experience analyzing company fundamentals and groups of trading strategies based on the markets reaction to corporate actions and merger acquisitions. Must include 3 years of experience with each of the following 1 backtesting trading behavior of related strategies from broad patterns over time to intraday dynamics during opening and closing auctions; 2 sellside syndicate processes; 3 US stock exchange auctions; 4 portfolio construction and management with factor risk analysis; 5 design hedging strategies by using financial products including ETFs, single name stocks, futures, foreign exchange, and derivatives; and 6 verbal and written communication with company management, industry experts, sellside brokers, third party data suppliers, and buyside investors.
