Education Requirement This position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineeringbr br Work Experience Requirement 3 years of utility, transmission operations, realtime operations, or related experiencebr br Specific Skills Requirement Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with 1 4 years of experience in power system steady state simulation using PSSE, TARA, PSAT, PowerWorld, PSLF, or similar software; 2 2 years of experience in power system transient and voltage stability simulations using PSSE, TARA, PSAT, PowerWorld, PSLF, or similar software; 3 3 years using programming and scripting languages such as Python, C, VBA to manage large data sets and utilize power system simulation software APIs; 4 1 year of familiarity with EMS data structures and accessing current system operating data through EMS and accessing historical systems operating data through PI or other system information storage repository; 5 4 years of implementing or writing operating guides to be used in power system operations or planning; and 6 2 years of ability to present technical subject matter to a management and peers and collaborate in teams to solve complex problems.
