All qualified candidates must have skillsproficiency in the following acquired through related coursework or experience supporting quality improvement and management engineering projects in a health care environment; demonstrated analytic skills, including data analysis, data visualization and database management; demonstrated ability to present results and describe engineering techniques at all levels, including CSuite executives; coaching, training andor serving as an internal consultant; and use of management engineering software such as Microsoft Visio, discrete event simulation and relevant statistical analysis software. This position is based at MaineHealths worksite at 509 Forest Ave., Portland, ME. Telecommuting from a normal commuting distance to this location may be permitted. Travel approximately 20 is required for meetings at various MaineHealth locations in Southern and Central Maine and North Conway, NH. The Quality Management Engineer is a systemshared services roving resource. These site visits generally last one day at a time.
