Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; plus 5 years of experience in the position offered, as a Hardware Engineer, or related experience using optical fiber electric field, and optical safety. Alternatively, the Employer will accept a Masters degree or higher, or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field; plus 1 year of experience in the position offered, as a Hardware Engineer, or related experience using optical fiber electric field, and optical safety. Must have 1 year of experience with the following skills Optical sensing, theory, challenges, constraints and calibration methods; Optical instruments; Measuring of optical power of light sources; instrument control and signal visualizationcapture with LabView and MATLAB. Must have MATLAB certification, and verifiable proficiency with Optical modeling; Embedded C programming; Python programming; Timeofflight sensor technology.br br Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
