PhD. Or equivalent terminal degree in Toxicology, Microbiology, chemistry, biochemistry, or related fields. Experience working with aquatic organisms.br br Desired qualifications Postdoctoral experience; a strong track record of scholarly publication in highly regarded, peer reviewed journals; a history of securing federal funding to conduct research; ability to provide quality mentoring and teaching to undergraduate and graduate students.br br Dr. Doering has more than 12 years of experience performing field and laboratorybased toxicity research with aquatic organisms, including 12 different species of fish, frogs, and turtles. He has 5 years of postdoctoral experience, with 3 years tenure at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Duluth, MN and 2 years tenure at the University of Lethbridge Lethbridge, AB, Canada. He published 33 scholarly publications in highly regarded, peer reviewed journals in environmental toxicology. Dr. Doering secured 200,000 USD in federal funding to conduct research; and secured 6 federal scholarships and fellowships to conduct research that total more than 400,000 USD. Dr. Doering has directly supervised research with a total of 76 students and research support personnel; and independently developed and presented more than 60 lectures on environmental sciences to more than 200 students at the grade school to graduate level.
