Ph.D. in Statistics or a closely related field, with a proven interest in applications, demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, consulting, and qualifications necessary to ultimately hold abr tenured academic rank in the Department.br br Preferred Qualifications Interest in spatial statistics, bioinformatics, data mining, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or other modern applied statistical methods preferred. Postdoctoral or other experience beyond the Ph.D. is ideal. Experience is highly desired with online and flexible teaching and experiential learning; ability to build collaborations of high impact; ability to be highly effective in a diverse, interdisciplinary, collaborative, high performing work environment; ability to work effectively and collegially with university administrators, faculty, staff, and students; and ability to engage in effective verbal and written communication; effective interpersonal, and organizational skills. Research collaboration is encouraged.
