Required expertiseknowledge includesbr br Experience developing new automotive applications and raw material selection for products molded in automotive plastic materials, including TPO, PP LGF, ABS, ASA, PC, PCABS, PCASA, and PCPET;br Experience in design for manufacturability DFM;br Experience in Design for Assembly DFA;br Experience in Injection Mold Design and Tooling;br Experience in Mold Flow;br Experienced in testing and characterization methods for plastics BET Surface Area tester, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, UTM machine, DSC, TGA, etc.;br Design Control requirements and experience generating documentation including Design Verification and Validation;br Injection molding machine experience with ability to perform Mold Trials;br Experience with product design and development;br Basic knowledge of CAD Programs such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Unigraphics NX.br br Travel Requirementsbr US and Canada Region, 30 of time.
