This position requires a Masters degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field and related automotive manufacturing experience. Must also have demonstrated experience with each of the following 1 utilizing Six sigma and Lean concepts in an industrial manufacturing environment; 2 developing value stream mapping exercises to identify areas for improved efficiency; 3 developing maintenance and safety procedures for industrial machinery; 4 implementing Total Productive Maintenance positively impacting Overall Equipment Efficiency; and 5 utilizing digital simulation to drive Theory of Constraints and increase capacity in our value streams critical path. This position will supervise 35 subordinates. Employer will accept experience gained before, during, or after Masters degree program. Will accept experience gained concurrently. 10 domestic travel required to meet with business unit stakeholders.
