Must have Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering or a related field, plus eight 8 years of progressively responsible experience in the position offered or a related position. Must have eight 8 years of progressively responsible experience with all of the following Modeling and analyzing the assigned process units or plants using company specified process simulators, such as UniSim, and HYSYS; Developing Process Flow Diagrams PFDs, heat and material balance, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams PIDs; Performing equipment sizing calculations and preparing equipment data sheets; Developing and performing process engineering studies from proposal through final report; Preparing process data sheets for instrumentations; Conducting preliminary control valve sizing using supplier programs such as Fisher Valve Specification Manager; Performing plant line sizing and hydraulic calculations; Conducting plant relief valve contingency list and relieving load calculations; Conducting relief valve sizing using commercial programs such as Farris SizeMaster; Conducting flarenet modeling using AspenTech Flare Analyzer, flare equipment sizing, and relief valve inlet line sizing; and participating in Hazard and Operability Analysis HAZOP reviews. 25 travel required domestically international to Linde sites.
