Master Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Energy Science, Technology, and Policy Applied Sciences, Energy Systems or related technical field and 12 months of work experience in job offered or related technical occupation. Experience may be gained concurrently and must include the followingbr br 1. Translating software and electrical design concepts into working systems, including data collection and aggregation systems;br 2. Data analysis, including individual device energy use;br 3. Translating research results into journal articles and conference papers;br 4. Internet of Things devices and System integration;br 5. Software development and energy modeling;br 6. Control systems, HVAC and metering in commercial buildings;br 7. Power systems and energy efficiency;br 8. Programming languages including C, Java, Python, and at least one database system;br 9. Demand flexibility, demand response, and microgrids;br 10. Preparing and presenting research results and reports to clients andor collaborators; andbr 11. Protocol tools such as Zigbee, BACnet, Modbus, or MQTT; andbr 12. Embedded processor systems such as Raspberry Pi.
