Position requires academic or industry experience in the following skills National and California bridge design codes including AASHTO and Caltrans; CADD skills; Structural design software including SAP2000, CSiBridge, VBridge, VBent, LPILE, and PGSuper; Perform and prepare structural design calculations for projects including bridges and retaining walls; Prepare sketches of structure design concepts to be developed by CADD technicians, and reviews the production of structural engineering drawings; and Prepare and review construction cost estimates.br br Special skills requirements enumerated in H14 may be attained through academic or industry experience. Any required proficiency andor skills pertaining to the applicants qualifications which are not listed explicitly at Section K Alien Work Experiencewere satisfied by the applicant through academic experience or are implicit within the context of the job duties previously performed by the applicant as set forth at Section K. The applicant satisfies all requirements for the job offered.br br Please also note that the employer does not require that these skills be quantified by the years of experience enumerated in H8 and H10.
