Employer will accept a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 2 years of work experience in the job offered or in an Optics Engineeringrelated occupation. Position requiresbr 1. Electron optics in the field of scanning electron microscopy including, electron sources, electron optical components, detection principals using MEBS Munros Electron Beam Software for simulation and EO concept design;br 2. Solidworks for ME design;br 3. Electron beam test stand for EO submodule tests and specification verification;br 4. Simulating electron optical properties, deriving mechanical and electrical specifications and transferring them into optomechanical concepts;br 5. Building prototypes of latest generation of electron beam metrologyinspection tools utilizing high voltage and ultrahigh vacuum knowledge, handson skills and troubleshooting ability;br 6. Verification of specification achievement in experiments through the use of electron source and column test stands for EO submodule testing, image tuning and calibration; andbr 7. Fundamental physics, materials science and mechanics for design and manufacturing components, as well as solid mathematics background for system error budget definition and risk retirement.
