Employer will accept a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Science, Optics, Laser Science, Sensor, Programming, or in a related field and 24 months of work experience in the job offered or in an engineeringrelated occupation.br br Position requiresbr 1. Experience in optical engineering and imaging metrology;br 2. Understanding of laser science, specifically able to setup and align optical benches with laser light sources;br 3. Experience in mechanical or optomechanical design, tolerance analysis, and thermal and fluid analysis;br 4. MATLAB, Python, C, Labview, Solidworks, andor Zemax;br 5. Experience in manufacturing and material science;br 6. Experience in sensor characterization and system characterization; andbr 7. Product development experience including prototype testing, design of experiments, error budget analysis, and supply chain management.
