Required Qualifications An earned Ph.D., or the foreign equivalent, in Industrial and Systems Engineering, or a closely related field is required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in securing or showing promise for nationallevel external funding. A research specialization that can enhance one of the colleges primary interdisciplinary research areas of Biomedical and Health Systems, Smart Infrastructure, Advanced Manufacturing, Intelligent Robotic Systems, Innovative Materials or Sustainable Energy, or in emerging areas that would complement existing strengths within the department. Relevant industry andor teaching experience. Experience teaching in a variety of delivery modes. Evidence of teaching or working with a culturally and an ethnically diverse community. Background Check Per the University System of Georgia background check policy, all final candidates will be required to consent to a criminal background investigation. Final candidates may be asked to disclose criminal record history during the initial screening process and prior to a conditional offer of employment. Applicants for positions of trust with screening results which confirm a disqualifying criminal history will be immediately disqualified from employment eligibility.
