The position requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study and two 2 years of related experience. Experience must involve two 2 years in the following programming firmware; navigating a quality system following a risk based approach; medical software development lifecycle including unit testing, code reviews, source control, and documenting firmware design; C programming; bare metal implementation; statemachine driven design; MISRA coding standards; interacting with software debugging in an embedded environment; controlling microprocessor hardware including digital IO, timers, ADCs, UARTs, and low power modes; oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies; reading hardware schematics and data sheets; and version control systems and release methodologies.
