Masters degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelors degree in the above listed fields and 5 years of experience in the job offered or an acceptable alternate occupation. Full term of experience must include the following skills product development, carrier certification, engineering testing, customer support, and improving firmware in embedded android, Linux RTOS and Windows based platforms; experience in wireless protocols including CDMA,WCDMA,LTE,IMS; experience in Embedded C, Java, Android RIL, Framework, middleware and Android Architecture; experience in Qualcomm Based chipset and tools like QXDM,QCAT,PDC and cellular wireless Architecture; experience using tools like Jenkins, JIRA, Gerrit, SFDC; Knowledge of cellular mobile devices with Android Operating system; and Experience in debugging issues and identifying root cause and resolving the issues. Approximately 10 travel required. Telecommuting permitted up to two 2 times per week.
