Position requires a Bachelors degree in Economics or Finance or foreign equivalent plus two years experience in Finance in the luxury clothing imports industry utilizing Electronic Data Interchange EDI procedures, audit and control procedures within trading partner, set map, and interface files; working with Enterprise Resource Planning ERP systems Nymph and Besight as well as Warehouse Management System WMS to control and verify status of shipments and logistics processes; working with Structured Query Language SQL; auditing monthly bills; creating Key Performance Indicator KPI Reports; managing Dynamics 365 backend by identifying optimization potential and partnering with CS managers and external vendors to implement better practices and achieve high level of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency; reviewing data extracts from Business Intelligence and Data Visualization PoweBI to support key strategic initiatives; researching, identifying, and explaining expense and operational variances to highlight areas of risk and opportunities to improve; analyzing data from the reporting system Be sight Now BSN to track business performance against operating plans and prepare variance analysis for management and business areas; working with Harmonized System HS codes in order to classify, report shipments in the Automated Export System AES and Determine import tariff ratesand figure out if a product qualifies for a preferential tariff under a free trade agreement; and working with merchant processing payments, including Chase Paymentech and Square. International travel required twice a year.
