Cont. from H.11 assist the Project Manager in establishing task schedule and manpower requirements consistent with the project agreement by identifying weekly and longterm tasks based on client requirements; coordinate with other trades, assist in identifying and quantifying tasks outside the scope of the OwnerArchitect agreement for negotiation of additional services; evaluate and manage bids from consultants, estimates, and contract budgets; coordinate and work with photographers to document completed projects; develop workplace strategy, standards for space plans, a kit of parts comprising furniture, finishes, lighting, fixtures, and equipment by each space type, signage guidelines, and provide specifications for each item with alternates that can be used in different project locations based on local codes.br br Requires Bachelors degree in Interior Design or foreign equivalent, NCIDQ Certificate, and 3 years of experience to include participating in design documentation, construction documentation, plan check responses and construction administration for various project typologies such as commercial retail, corporate interiors, science and technology, hospitality, multistory mixeduse, behavioral health and institutional projects including new construction, renovation, expansion, and tenant improvement ranging in size from 10000 SF to 1,000,000 SF; organizing the project requirement information using MS Excel or Smartsheet to create a program for the project which forms the basis of design and develop innovative, researchbacked solutions for all phases of a project; preparing technical drawings including plans, design elevations, and 3D visualizations using Building Information Modeling BIM software, viz. REVIT, Enscape, Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and design tools like Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator Affinity Suite, and handdrawn sketches to quickly communicate ideas; assimilating drawings to create easy to follow presentations to the client using tools including Miro, Concept board, PowerPoint, etc.; studying color theory and finish textures and their effect on psychology of users for the specific project typology and developing finish material palettes for the clients review; recommending interior finish materials, equipment, furniture and fixtures based on the functional, aesthetic and budget requirements, incorporating sustainable design principles including architectural finishes for flooring, walls and ceiling, furniture solutions and finishes, custom millwork design and detailing, lighting, plumbing fixtures and appliances; developing appropriate permit and construction documentation in Revit and AutoCAD including demolition plans, furniture plans, elevations, furniture and finishes specifications, partition plans, reflected ceiling plans, power and communication plans, life safety plans, and construction details, and review these drawings regularly to see that the design intent is met; coordinating and collaborating with MEP, Lighting, Structural, Civil Engineers, and other agencies like landscape designers, acoustical consultants, code consultants, AV and technology consultants, food and restaurant design consultants, signage consultants, and furniture vendors to streamline design implementation; coordinating with product manufacturers to understand specific product installation requirements and how they can be implemented at the clients project site; coordinating with spec writer and project architect to prepare finish specifications and schedules; maintaining an organized log and responding to requests for information RFIs, reviewing submittals such as shop drawings, materials samples, signage samples and returning to the contractor, submitting change orders requested by the client to the contractor during the construction process; documenting sustainability and other product information for clients operations and maintenance use; Cont. in K.
