Cont. from H.11 assist in the implementation of firmwide strategies and collaborate with design teams to ensure sustainable design success, provide support and guidance firmwide, and focus on the seamless rollout of sustainable design implementation in office design projects including commercial, urban design, transportation, retail, and international multistory and highrise buildings; work in conjunction with sustainable design leadership in the continued improvement and development of highperformance design to maintain and improve the quality and consistency of design environment and deliverables; develop, modify, and review drawings according to established standards, applying proper QAQC methods throughout project; evaluate and manage bids, estimates, and contract budgets, coordinating with project managers, clients, consultants, and contractors; process general contractors requests for information RFIs, submittals, and change order requests; conduct site visits, field observation and meetings to review the progress of construction; assist team in construction administration document management; organize, file, distribute, and track documents utilizing Project Sight and Trimble Connect; gather information on past projects, content development, quick turnaround concept development, 3D digital modeling, along with presentation and proposal design and formatting; assist in work planning and scheduling processes.br br Requires Bachelor of Architecture 5 year or foreign equivalent plus 1 year of experience to include assisting in predesign and all design phases of largescale corporatecommercial including new construction, renovation, tenant improvement, parking garage, and unit plans; analyzing client needs and utilize independent thinking to develop approaches in andor manage phases of architectural design for projects, from schematic design to design development, including modifications to existing structural systems, space planning, and custom detailing; responding to Requests for Proposals RFPs and design competitions; researching domestic building codes and regulations and collecting data to incorporate research and data into architectural designs and technical documents; developing site design studies requiring site plans, site sections, 3D digital massing, and physical site modeling; analyzing sketches, photographs, notes, and site survey of existing conditions other input material to determine best approaches for completion of drawings to solve technical issues of design in relation to site conditions, building structure, HVAC, electrical and plumbing system, fire protection and materials for intricate detailing; developing concept alternatives, studies and strong presentations requiring 3D digital massing, floor plans, space plans, building elevations, sections and perspectives; developing exterior envelope design requiring enlarged plans, elevations, sections, details and axonometric drawings; conducting material and product research for exteriors and interiors, and incorporate into design and documentation; participating in setting up project team software parameters and management of standards; preparing client and public presentations, workshops and meetings, using building information modeling programs, including AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, and SketchUp, analysis and computer skills to develop 3D building computer models and images, using 2D tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, and Vray to produce design documentation and presentations; understanding and translating design intent into technical documents; analyzing and developing approaches to the creation and modification of architectural documents, elevations, sections, and details ensuring the incorporation of design intent; Cont. in K.Job 1
