A Bachelors Degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline, and five 5 years of postBachelors, progressive experience preparing detailed cost estimates for large commercial electrical construction projects. The required experience must include five 5 years of progressive experience working as an Estimator on large projects with a total electrical contract value of up to 10 million. Additional skills to include experience with buyouts with electrical packages of no less than 2 million. Experience in estimating electrical systems. Experience with electrical theory, design, and advanced power systems. Experience in compiling, organizing, and recording critical information accurately. Experience in Excel based estimating software programs as well as BlueBeam for electrical takeoff.
