Must have a US bachelors Degree or higher in Engineering or IT or Telecommunications. Must have at least 5 years of progressive work experience in Network Engineering RouteSwitch at the enterprise level culminating as a technical lead with expert knowledge to serve as a top technician and networking subject matter expert. This experience mustbr include the following 1 handson experience designing, building, and maintaining networks that meet government regulatory requirements and datacenter networks onprem or colo; 2 experience deploying and maintaining multicast networks; 3 experience with Air to Ground and Ground to Ground radio communications e.g. VHF, UHF and ACARS; 4 experience writing and negotiating statements of work to build out physical networking designs e.g. Fiber, Cat6, IDFMDF closets and the ability to read and understand construction blueprints; 5 experience designing and supporting WAN routing protocols e.g., BGP, EIGRP; and 6 experience with Palo Alto Firewalls or Cisco ASAs. Must be able to obtain clearance to work at the Daniel K. Inouye Honolulu International Airport. Ability to travel as needed 12 times per year, on average, to domestic andor international locations.
