The position requires a Bachelors degree in Architecture, or a foreign equivalent degree, plus six 6 years of progressively responsible design experience. In the alternative, we will accept a Masters degree in Architecture, or a foreign equivalent degree, plus four 4 years of design experience. The experience must include four 4 years of working on small to largescale science and technology project types in academic and commercial setting including healthcare, or advanced manufacturing and workplace strategy projects, and allied health and medical education for institutions of higher education, research or laboratory planning and design, and academic medical centers. We also require two 2 years experience with i sustainable design, city permitting and research and selection of architectural products, systems, finished and equipment; ii taking concept ideas from programs used by team members and delivering renderings, animations, and 3D printed models, as well as assisting with design competition 3D modeling, floor plansite plan layout and code analysis for large projects over 150,000 square feet that have been built or are current under construction; and iii Revit, 2D and 3D graphics, Sketchup, 3D Max, Rhino, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience can be gained concurrently. Architectural licensure required. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. May partially telecommute from home within normal commuting distance from our Boston office. Travel 010 to visit project sites, mainly in MA, but might be in other US locations.
