In lieu of a Masters degree and three 3 years of experience, the employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field or its foreign equivalent plus five 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools.br br 3. Other experience and skills must includebr Manufacturing and processing principles including cycle time analysis, quality control, equipment efficiency, equipment selection, return on investment, error proofing, ergonomics, material logistics, and manufacturing planning.br Root Cause Analysis methods including Ishikawa Fishbone Diagram IFD, Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis PFMEA, or the 5 Whys.br Improving production yield and optimizing equipment performance.br Analyzing key process issues and translate findings into actionable recommendations.br Developing the Manufacturing Plan, Floor Layout, Process Flow, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis PFMEA, and Work Instructions for new processes.br Industrial hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their related machine controls.br Machine safety systems and their requirements.br Tool making and machining.br Creating and maintaining value stream maps and using them to make decisions about manufacturing processing and material movement.br Developing automated manufacturing equipment, fixturing, and tooling in 3D.br Drawing machine or production line layout in 2D.
