Section H.14 defines the experience and skills that a qualified candidate must possess to meet the actual minimum requirements for the position. The employer would accept the experience and skills from an alternate occupation with any job title.br br Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field and two years of experience involving the following Linux kernel, Windows systems, and Android system; C, C; Embedded system design, and Embedded system debugging; RTOS; Multithreaded operating systems, Microprocessor Architecture, and Unit testing; open source software communities; CPU, GPU, memory subsystem and connectivity; and mobile phone hardware subsystems, including application processor, multimedia, GPU, modem and wifi.br br OR Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field and five years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience involving the following Linux kernel, Windows systems, and Android system; C, C; Embedded system design, and Embedded system debugging; RTOS; Multithreaded operating systems, Microprocessor Architecture, and Unit testing; open source software communities; CPU, GPU, memory subsystem and connectivity; and mobile phone hardware subsystems, including application processor, multimedia, GPU, modem and wifi.br br Position reports to the Google San Diego, CA office may allow for partial telecommuting.
