H10 Section H.14 defines the experience and skills that a qualified candidate must possess to meet the actual minimum requirements for the position. The required experience and skills may be obtained in the position offered or any alternate occupation. The employer would accept the experience and skills from an alternate occupation with any job title.br br Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field and two years of experience involving the following enterprise and service provider L2IPMPLS based network design, implementation or operation; debugging of complex network and network device issues and fault isolations; data packet forwarding, routing protocols, data center networking technologies; routing protocols including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, LACP, LAG, PIM, LDP, RSVP; switching technologies including MCLAG, xSTP; MPLS, Traffic engineering, Layer 2 and layer 3 VPNs, multicasting; Python; and JNCIESP, JNCIEENT AND JNCIEDC.br br OR Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication or a related field and five years of progressive postbaccalaureate experience involving the following enterprise and service provider L2IPMPLS based network design, implementation or operation; debugging of complex network and network device issues and fault isolations; data packet forwarding, routing protocols, data center networking technologies; routing protocols including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, LACP, LAG, PIM, LDP, RSVP; switching technologies including MCLAG, xSTP; MPLS, Traffic engineering, Layer 2 and layer 3 VPNs, multicasting; Python; and JNCIESP, JNCIEENT AND JNCIEDC.br br Position reports to the Google Austin, TX office may allow for partial telecommuting.
