Position requires a Bachelors degree, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, and 8 years of experience in a related occupation. Foreign equivalent degree accepted.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education and experience as equivalent to a U.S. Bachelors degree as determined by a recognized credential evaluation service.br br Any suitable combination of education, training, andor experience is acceptable.br br The position also requiresbr br 8 years experience in power electronics, power conversion, andor naval power systems.br br 2 years domain experience of semiconductor devices Thyristor and transistor based and their application to large power converters including control theory.br br 2 years experience with the control of voltage source and current sourced power converters.br br br Up to 30 travel required to various customer sites within the US and in international locations such as Canada, Brazil, UK, France and Germany for new project commissioning and onsite technical support on equipment performance including failure analysis, maintenance and upgrade.br br GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening.
