Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field, plus 5 five years of progressive experience in an engineering environment, and demonstrated experience in the followingbr Knowledge and ability to communicate knowledge in one or more of the following technical areas Systems Integration, System Safety, System Requirements, or Aircraft Certification.br Advanced skills troubleshooting Garmin avionic systems or similar avionics systems.br Understanding of and ability to communicate industry standards for avionics interfaces.br Acting as program lead for large and complex avionic programs spanning multiple resources and different groups such as software engineering, design engineering, or system safety.br Leading product definition and creation of technical product proposals for complex OEM programs.br Management or support in one or more of the following areas program and aircraft level scheduling, contract review and negotiation, or technical aircraft and compliance documentation.br br In lieu of a Bachelors degree plus five years of progressive experience, will accept a Masters degree in the same plus three years of progressive experience in an engineering environment.
