Experience must include Experience with battery pack engineering for automotive application; cell chemistry LTO, NMC, NCA, LFP, performance and testing; electrical, thermal and mechanical characteristics of cells, modules and packs SOC, SOH, DOD life cycle etc.; automotive certification standards UN, UL, IPC, SAE and FMVSS and design for manufacturability; 3D CAD commercial sw namely CREO, NX and CATIA; using the CAD design tool suite; performing design activities such as concept module development from cell mechanical and electrical, concept pack design within the vehicle space constraints, mechanical structural design for safety and operation of pack; integration of electrical systems, thermal system design for battery pack thermal management; production program design iteration ASample, BSample, CSample management in close collaboration with simulation and safety assessment team; Battery pack housing, structure and cover, module integration, thermal system, integration of EE components, HV bus bars and system Wiring harness; BOM management; change management; creating drawings based on parametric CAD models per ANSI and ISO standards; developing design to Integrate Geometric Dimensioning Tolerance GDT, Stack up Analysis, Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly; design of injection molded engineering plastics, seals, machining, diecast aluminum, and stamped metal parts; designing parts requiring joining techniques namely fastening, welding and adhesives; engineering materials; different materials and grades; working closely with lead engineers and cross functional team members namely Design, simulation, Hardware, software, functional safety etc; communicating project progress to project management and manage project risk appropriately; PLMPDM systems with ENOVIA 2015x or Team center; preparing for and participating in formal and informal design review activities; and experience with Advanced product quality planning APQP.
