Position requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or closely related field of study, plus 5 years of experience in the job offered, or as a Senior Data Analyst, Data Analyst, Flight Operations Specialist, or in a similar advanced analytics role. Must have experience working in the insurance or banking industry with related data assets, including working with customer policy data, financial and operational transaction data, quote data, and data on insurable interests. Specific experience must also include working with each of the following predictive modeling or similar forms of advanced data analytics; database management language such as SQL or similar; computer programming language such as Python, C, or similar; unstructured and semistructured data, including aerial imagery data and other nonstandard forms of external data; large datasets leveraging ETL tools such as SSIS or similar; advanced analytics and reporting; and using data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar to build scorecards and dashboards. Must be willing to occasionally travel within the U.S. Option to work remotely is available.
