Employer will accept a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study and 24 months of experience in the job offered or alternate occupation of Electrical Engineer all levels, Staff Electrical Engineer, or closely related. Foreign degree equivalent accepted.br br Experience must include 24 months of experience in each of the following Troubleshooting electrical equipment VFD, Soft starter, Reduced Voltage starter; Programmed Low Voltage VFDs; Programmed Protection Relays; SEL and GE relay programming; Electrical system design; Field and design experience with protective relays, reclosers, metering, power transformers, medium voltage switchgear, large medium voltage motors, high voltage substations and transmission systems; Electrical regulations including IEEE, ANSI, NFPA 70 and 70E, NEC, API 500 and OHSA safety standards; Microprocessor relays; and Power system analysis program ETAP, SKM Power Tool. Also, requires California Professional Engineer License, and must be Certified Project Management Professional PMP.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, andor experience.
