Masters degree or foreign education equivalent in Petroleum Engineering, Energy Economics, Supply Chain or related field plus four 4 years of experience bringing new software products to market in the upstream oil and gas segment or, alternatively, a Bachelors degree or foreign education equivalent in Petroleum Engineering, Energy Economics, Supply Chain or related field and six 6 years of experience bringing new software products to market in the upstream oil and gas segment. Specific skillsother requirements Experience must include quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section Providing subject matter expertise in developing product strategy for SaaS solutions around oil and gas operations; applying reservoir engineering principles to lead product development of operations optimization products for oil and gas production assets; applying operational knowledge of oil and gas well drilling processes, equipment, and costs to extract details from public and proprietary invoice datasets and oil and gas drilling and completion datasets; developing SaaS product plans, requirements, and workflows for SaaS product offerings in the area of oil and gas completions, including collaborating with technical, product, sales, marketing, and data science teams; developing SaaS product go to market plan and commercialization, including product launch strategy and technical roadmap for successful achievement of financial targets in product launch; and, working with RD teams to test new software products or models designed to process or analyze disparate, unstructured, and structured oil and gas operations and costs datasets. Position requires approximately 1020 travel domestic and international.
