Doctorate Ph.D. in Chemistry, PhysicalAnalytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or Physics, or related field. Will accept Masters degree in Chemistry, PhysicalAnalytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or Physics or related field and two years of experience in PhysicalAnalytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or Physics. Must have experience in each of the following demonstrated ability with formal advanced degree work in Surface Analysis technology based on techniques such as AFM and XPS; material characterization using surfacebased analytical technologies; deep understanding of common Surface Analysis sample preparation and analysis methods; complex image analysis method development; expertise in image analysis automation; and the development and validation of analytical methods and effective, technology transfer. Experience may be gained through education or employment.
