Qualified applicants will have a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field and 5 years of concrete forming experience. Experience must include managing and leading a project technician team, overseeing their work performance and ensuring continuous development and growth; training new junior project technicians in basic formwork and shoring systems; training project technicians with shoring and wall formwork; setting priorities, changing priorities to meet business needs, scheduling projects while managing a team, and overseeing multiple tasks concurrently; making presentations and explaining to customers the formwork solutions and design; reading blueprints of various structures within the Infrastructure, Highrise, commercial, institutional, and other building sectors; performing static analysis and calculations of concrete forming and shoring systems including Shoring, scaffolding, wall forms, Singlesided formwork, and climbing platforms; checking and approving drawings and static calculations according to internal and governmental construction standards; creating a Bill of materials based on formwork drawings to provide pricing or delivery lists for projects; using the following computer software structural analysis calculation software, AutoCAD Including 3D, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Microsoft Visual Basic, and project planning software; formwork systems and assisting on a job site with correct assembly and use according to field drawings; technical knowledge of concrete and steel material and standard methods of forming structures built out of concrete or combination of concrete and steel; practical understanding of building methodology and site logistics such as construction equipment, building schedule, and site constraints; analytical skills including data analysis and research; familiarity with codes and standards such as ACI, AASHTO, AISC, and ANSI; and familiarity with Frami, Framax, Dokaflex, MF240, Top50 S, Girder System, Dokamatic S, Tables, Truss Tables, 10K Shoring Towers, Staxo100 Heavy Shoring System, D22 K F Dam Formwork System, Crane Lifting, Systems K Platforms, Xclimb60, and Super Props. 5domestic travel required.
