Masters Degree or foreign equivalent or higher in Control Engineering, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and one 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related field.br br br Qualified Candidates must also have demonstrable knowledge, experience, skill, or proficiency through experience or coursework with the followingbr br br 1. Commercial and industrial PV system design of rooftop, groundmount and canopy systems;br br 2. Extensive AutoCAD including drafting 1 and 3 line diagrams, site plans and electrical details;br br 3. Project engineering managing and coordinating technical components design, interconnection, installation and commissioning of projects.br br 4. Understanding of and familiarity with at least two or more of the following National Electrical Code NEC, Canadian Electrical Code CEC, California Electrical Code CEC, building, structural or fire codes;br br 5. Protection, monitoring and communication systems and equipment;br br 6. Low and medium voltage systems and equipment;br br 7. PVsyst, Helioscope, SunDAT and other PV industry modeling software;br br 8. Interconnection requirements of distributed generation including PV inverters and battery energy storage systems;br br 9. Management of 3rd party engineering firms of multiple disciplines.br br Travel 15 of domestic travel per year; work from home benefit.
