Requires Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 3 years of experience or Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 1 year of experience. 1 year of experience must include 1 Bridge design, retaining wall design and sign structure analysis; 2 Developing engineering calculations and construction documents including plans, specifications and quantity estimates; 3 Reviewing contractor submittals during construction; 4 AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications; TxDOT design standards, procedures, and manuals; and 5 utilizing structural analysis and design software, including MicroStation, GEOPAK, STAAD Pro, Lpile, spColumn, PGSuper, Wincore and TxDOT Bridge Geometry System BGSbr br Employer will accept any suitable combination of Education, Experience, or Training consistent with H4 through H10 of this ETA 9089 Form.
