Five 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation working in a food related field; conducting analysis of UVVis, HPLC, LCMS andor LCMSMS on carbohydrates, proteins and other macro and micronutrients from complex mixtures and food systems; applying analytical techniques and instrumentation in analyses of small organics, inorganics, and macromolecules including LCMS, ESIQToF, GCMS to assess and develop new technologies and methodologies; applying theoretical and practical aspects of biochemistryenzymology and protein structure function to routine enzymatic and biochemical assays administering isolation and quantification of micronutrients, including antinutritional factors such as phytic acid and various oligosaccharides; utilizing understanding of enzyme performance and bioavailability impacts, and their relationship with final food products; and conducting qualitative and quantitative data analysis and performing systematic statistical evaluations using different software including SASJMP. In the alternative, employer will accept a Ph.D. in the above listed fields and two 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. 20 travel required.
