Masters degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related Life Sciences field willing to accept foreign education equivalent plus ten years of experience in job or in downstream process development of biologics, HTPD, scaleup, tech transfer, andor biologics manufacturing or, alternatively, a PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related Life Sciences field willing to accept foreign education equivalent and five years of experience in job or in downstream process development of biologics, HTPD, scaleup, tech transfer, andor biologics manufacturing. Experience must include downstream processing of biomolecules filtration, upstream, downstream, technology transfer, validation, process development, biomanufacturing, continuous processing in industrial setting; working in scientific project leader role to develop downstream processes for various biomolecules Viral vectors, monoclonal Antibodies, vaccines, recombinant proteins, plasma, lactoferrin, lactaglobulin, membrane proteins etc. or conducting independent scientific application work in such projects; performing and developing analytical assays as part of process development projects, i.e. HPLC, Labchip, electrophoresis, Gyrolab, pA; IEF, Glycan analysis etc; designing, developing and delivering bioprocess training courses for customers, theoretical as well as practical, and delivering these courses as a subject matter expert; Working with UNICORN, AKTA, Large scale column packing, Biacore, WAVE, SKIDs, TFF and HTPD; working with FDAEMEA regulations for biologics Phase IIII and manufacturing and flex factory operations; collaborating with and provide technical advice to customers; and identifying continuous improvement opportunities in customer biomanufacturing processes and designing and implementing innovative process enhancements. Position requires up to 20 domestic and international travel.
