Requires a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering or a directly related field plus three 3 years experience as a software tester. Employer will also accept a Bachelors degree plus five 5 years of described experience. Experience may be gained before, during, or after award of advanced degree. Experience must includebr br Three 3 years of experience with each of the following experience may be gained concurrentlybr br Testing multitiered web applications covering the following aspects of testing responsibility planning, estimation, design, execution, risk analysis, reporting, technical reviews, and defect tracking.br Testing and automating tests against RESTful APIs with JSON or XML payloads.br Using tools like Postman.br Various types of testing including functional, exploratory, system, black box and white box.br SQL and a relational database, such as MySQL or similar.br Utilizing HTML, CSS, HTTP, web browsers, and web servers.br Programming in an OOP language, including Java, C, or C#.br Design Patterns, code style, and debugging, as well as patterns common in test automation.br br br Two 2 years of experience with each of the following experience may be gained concurrentlybr Process, test, and automation considerations related to web or mobile targets.br Selenium automation framework, or similar Webdriver based automation framework.br System performance testing using tools like JMeter.br Working on a team using an agile scrum based Software Development Life Cycle SDLC.br Version control software, including Git, SVN, Mercurial, VSS, or CVS.br br Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience.
