Requires a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent. Requires 5 years of tire engineering experience in the RD sector or related engineering experience in a truck tire plant to include five 5 years with the following utilizing an understanding of the whole manufacturing process chain and its impact on the quality and performance of the tire; utilizing truck tire construction knowledge; utilizing Truck tires technology including the implementing and tracking continuous improvement process; working in plant specifications, modifying and approving truck tire specifications; three 3 years managing a team; calculating KPIs and preparing reports to support decision making on various levels of plant organization; two 2 years utilizing Cross sections Analysis CTD knowledge; working with systems including Microsoft utilities, SAP, and managing digital reporting tools; and training new and existing employees.
