Requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field or foreign equivalent and five 5 years of manufacturing related experience in which at least one 1 year of experience was within the automotive industry. Requires five 5 years of experience with each of the following utilizing lean manufacturing systems, concepts, and tools; utilizing problem solving techniques including Six Sigma, data and statistical analysis using Minitab software, GRR, SPC and CpkPpk, and 5 Whys to solve manufacturing issues, to improve quality and efficiency and to ensure processes and equipment are scalable and perform properly; utilizing engineering concepts, manufacturing, production standards and efficiency optimization tools; developing, implementing and maintaining manufacturing process documentation such as work instructions and manufacturing procedures; designing, quoting, and executing capital projects across multiple manufacturing processes; developing new manufacturing processes based on product manufacturability as well as introducing them into a production environment; and designing, fixturing, and tooling in CAD.
