Requires Masters in Civil Engineering 2 yrs experience using Synchro, HCS andor PTV VISSIM to perform corridor and interchange alternative analysis; conducting traffic impact analysis TIA andor Interstate Access Justification Report IAJR studies; conducting crash analysis using Highway Safety Manual; designing intelligent transportation systems ITS using MicroStation or Geopak; conducting field investigations of illumination ITS hardware conditions; designing signals, illumination, signing and pavement markings andor traffic control plans using MicroStation and Geopak; and preparing plans, specifications and estimates PSE. Must have E.I.T. andor P.E. certification.
