Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a directly related field plus 2 years of experience with software engineering. The 2 years of experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following 1 working with backend languages Ruby or Python and object oriented designs to build and maintain a distributed backend with different microservices; 2 working with Web API, including HTTP, REST, or GraphQL; 3 developing APIs that are scalable to millions of requests per second; 4 working with a relational database management system and utilizing database query languages; 5 utilizing asynchronous task queue management systems, including Celery or Sidekiq; 6 developing, tuning, and optimizing machine learning models to automate financial workflows with different statistical computing stacks; 7 developing mobile applications and utilizing frontend frameworks, including iOS, Android, or React Native; 8 consulting, designing, and integrating with financial thirdparty APIs; 9 writing automated unit, integration, and endtoend tests using testing frameworks; 10 deploying software on the AWS cloud computing platform, including EC2, RDS, and EKS; and 11 building, improving, and collaborating with product teams on customer facing features in the FinTech space.
