Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Philosophy. Area of Specialization Ethics or Philosophy of Science. One or more Additional Area of Competence Feminist Philosophy, Social Ontology, Environmental Philosophy, Philosophy of Technology, Philosophy of Information, Philosophy and Public Policy. Experience teaching, or demonstrated willingness to develop, onlinehybrid courses; Experience teaching diverse students; Experience teaching courses in Philosophy and general education. Preferred Potential to teach in more than one of the listed Areas of Competence, Potential to contribute the universitys initiatives in sustainability; Potential for online curriculum development and assessment, Potential to contribute in the departments interest in digital humanities scholarship and teaching and experimental philosophy; Experience to support the university and departments initiatives in student access, advisement, retention, and graduation.
