Requires a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a directly related field plus seven 7 years of experience in mechanical engineering in the petrochemical or oil gas industry along with a Professional Engineer license required. Must have 5 years of experience in Facilitating Kick Off Meetings, PreFab Meetings, Vendor Coordination Meetings, coordinate with Procurement, Expediting Supplier Quality, Manage NonConformance Reports and RFIs and Develop or review procedures for Factory Acceptance Tests FATs , witnessed hydrosatatic tests and NDT. Demonstrated familiarity with mechanical equipment design codes ASME, API, PIP. Must have 1 year of experience in Performing or review finite element analysis FEA or computational fluid dynamics CFD reports for pressure vessels, or other applications. Ability to estimate engineering and design manhours for FEED and Detailed Design phases of projects. Field Experience Installation, Commissioning and Startup, Perform pressure vessel design utilizing software COMPRESS or PVElite Experience with Heat exchanger software HTRI, Shop Fabrication Experience and Demonstrated familiarity with mechanical equipment design codes ANSI, NACE, TEMA. Finally, Must have TWIC Card, or be TWIC Card eligible. Will also accept a masters degree plus six 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering in the petrochemical or oil gas industry in lieu of Bachelors plus seven 7. 20, international or domestic, for client meetings, vendor kickoff meetings, inspections or factory acceptance tests, or travel or a high value engineering center.
