BURNS MCDONNELL ENGINEERING COMPANY, INC. – $121,805.00/Year

Requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field plus seven 7 years of electrical engineering experience. 15 of travel is required. Must have at least six 6 years of experience with the following Standard engineering techniques and procedures; Experience in telecommunications design and project leadership; Experience in designing communication systems for electric utilities; Experience in SCADA engineering and design, including points lists, device configuration files, equipment migration plans, bill of materials, engineering specification, communication diagram, equipment panel layout, and schematic and wiring diagrams; Applying client SCADA process for EMS modeling, SCADA device change compliance, and SCADA device configuration uploads; Supporting troubleshooting and inservicing of SCADA equipment and points; Industrial standards and codes such as ISO, NFPA, NEC, IEEE; and, Rendering programs and other analysis programs, including AutoCAD, MicroStation, 2D and 3D rendering programs. Alternatively, the employer will also accept a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology or a related field plus six 6 years of electrical engineering experience in lieu of Bachelors plus seven 7 years of electrical engineering experience. 15 of travel is required.
